How to use the effects in 2 easy steps:

1. Select an effect

You can choose from two types of effects - face paint or AR background. Both of them recognise up to 2 people in frame and work with both the front and back camera of your smartphone.

The two effects have 3 variants each and you can cycle through them by tapping the screen before taking a photo or during a video recording.

Choose an effect from the button below - a pop-up will appear asking you to open the link with Instagram.

2. Save the effect and open the Instagram camera

Open the Instagram app from the window that will appear after selecting the effect (picture 1).

Instagram will automatically open the app's camera and show information about the effect. Choose Save Effect (picture 2) in order to save it and it will be at your disposal from now on!
